# SML Parser > SML Parser is a browser-based tool for inspecting Suunto activity JSON files, GNSS tracks, altitude readings and receiver-estimated accuracy. The canonical application URL is https://smlanal.szmigiel.design/. The interface and documentation are in English. The application is developed by Ɓukasz Szmigiel; it is an independent tool, not an official Suunto service. Users select a local JSON file or load the bundled demo. Their selected file is parsed locally and is not uploaded. Map tiles are requested from OpenStreetMap. The app does not provide a server-side upload or analysis API. EHPE and EVPE are receiver estimates, not measured position errors. Warning thresholds are application heuristics, not Suunto specifications. Differences between GNSS altitude and the recorded Altitude field do not establish which reading is correct; the latter may include FusedAlti processing. When a file contains R-R intervals from a heart rate strap, the app reports strap artifacts, likely ectopic pairs, recording gaps, HRV (SDNN, RMSSD, pNN50) and rolling DFA alpha1. These are application heuristics and orientation values, not medical assessments. ## Documentation - [Application guide](https://smlanal.szmigiel.design/index.md): Supported formats, workflow, features, privacy and the exact warning thresholds. ## Optional - [Application](https://smlanal.szmigiel.design/): Interactive file viewer with a built-in demo. - [Source repository](https://github.com/szmigieldesign/smlanal): Source code and tests.
